Bay Hope Church is a growing, thriving multi-site church in the Tampa Bay area, with locations in Lutz and Westchase. Join our Facility Maintenance team, who are responsible for preparing the Bay Hope Church campuses for events and activities, maintaining buildings and grounds, and responding to work orders from the ministry departments. The Facilities team ensures that the operations of the church run smoothly for guests, Church staff, and outside vendors to accomplish the day-to-day tasks and overall goals of the campuses.
Pre-requisite Requirements:
3 or more years of experience in building maintenance Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Certification a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Weekday facility team responsibilities include:
Room setups and teardowns
Routine maintenance such as landscaping, paint, basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, etc.
Complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on time.
Work with ministry leaders and the Facilities management team with a great attitude
Sunday duties and responsibilities include:
Ensure the buildings and grounds are ready for services
Room setups as needed
Bathrooms (clean and maintain)
Common areas (clean and maintain)
Availability to respond to facility assistance as needed (spills, non-functional bathrooms, A/C issues, etc.)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
The employee must frequently lift and / or move 50 pounds; climb a ladder; often work with basic tools; and move furniture.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; moderately high places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; moderate heat and cold.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for all Audio/Video/Lighting technology as it pertains to worship and event experiences in all venues at the assigned campus. Video presentation, audio mixing and lighting design are key technical aspects of the position. There is also a tech volunteer recruitment and development facet to this position. In addition there are seasonal tasks that will be required such as set changes and equipment maintenance.
This position requires passing a comprehensive background check.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Mixing audio, lighting design, live video production, monitoring and light repair of technical production equipment / systems are the main responsibilities. This person must also be able to lead, mentor and train a team of tech volunteers. The position will require open communication with other staff, volunteers and laypersons in order to complete the tasks. This person must have strong troubleshooting skills. Participation in department and production meetings are required when deemed necessary. The Director of Technology for Bay Hope Church will serve as the Ministry Champion and will provide the technical training and guidance for this position. It is important to follow policies and procedures as found in the Employee Handbook, while performing regularly assigned responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor.
Typical Work Week Schedule:
Monday 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Total of 20 hours per week. This person will be responsible for managing their own hours and notifying their manager immediately if their schedule needs to be adjusted.
Qualifications:
Education / Experience:
Have interned / volunteered with the Bay Hope Technology department or another Church Technology department for a minimum of 1 year preferred. Other qualified experience will be considered in lieu of:
-Use of digital audio consoles and understanding mixing concepts (Behringer X32)
-Basic to advanced audio signal flow
-Strong understanding of DMX protocol and light programming (Vista software experience a plus)
-Ability to program and operate simple video switchers
-Equipment diagnostics and light repair
-Design, setup and operation of basic audio visual systems
-Basic understanding of network protocols and structure a plus
Ability and Attitude:
Possess organizational skills, ability to stay on task, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments. Display reliability and dependability in a friendly, patient, and courteous manner. Have knowledge of the campus and its activities. Understand and use email. Keep a positive work attitude and ethic.

A part-time position is open for a loving, caring, energetic person who works well in a team environment, sharing God’s Word, and serving families at Bay Hope Church. You will be working with children within the age range of 6 weeks to 5 years during Sunday morning services, Wednesday nights, and/or other special events. Staff are expected to learn and follow the policies, emergency procedures, and directions of the Kids Ministry leadership team, and to live a life that is honoring Christ.
While this role is somewhat flexible in hours, some Sundays, Wednesdays, and weekdays are required, based on the demands of the ministry season. Christmas Eve and Easter service, as well as Kids Camp, are required. Kids Ministry staff must be at least 18 years of age, have a clean background check, and be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Bay Hope Day School is currently seeking Part-Time and Full-Time teachers. You must be at least 21 years of age and able to lift at least 30 lbs. You will be working with children within the age range of 6 wks to 5 years during Sunday morning services.
An Early Childhood Teacher will need to…
- be comfortable with caring for young children (6 weeks to 5 years of age) including lifting & holding small children, changing diapers, and participating in floor activities.
- work well with other team members including supervising, delegating tasks, and mentoring.
- ‘Accept’ Planning Center Services, review weekly curriculum (including Bible Story Videos), and come prepared to lead the Bible Lesson plan following the Room Program which includes relational activities, games, crafts, worship music & prayer.
- ensure that the classroom is set up properly, sanitized and safe before children arrive, as well as clean up and reset for each service (following the Room Check Off List).
- welcome and Check families In & Out at the classroom door.
